Perth Playback Theatre encourages diversity and provides an inclusive space where all are welcome.
According to Jonathan Fox, the co-founder of Playback Theatre, the practice of Playback Theatre provides unbounded inclusivity training in developing seven skills relating to:
Storytelling, atmosphere, milieu (setting), embodiment, spontaneity, guidance, and collaboration. Players learn to make nimble decisions from the offers made, in the face of competing considerations to stimulate and engage with the audience.
